The IPL 2022 season is something that has level every fan perplexed. The cricket community has fallen in love with all the action on the field. The tournament has set international cricket on fire. The players and their skillset on display are elite. On, Monday, the Lucknow Super Giants took on the Hyderabadi Nawabs. The LSG team won by 12 runs. Avesh Khan grasped 4 wickets making that his career-best IPL performance. Deepak Hooda also batted very well. Here is an in-depth look:

The toss was won by SRH and they chose to bowl first. This decision was once again done by keeping in mind, the due factor that has been playing a huge role.
The Lucknow Super Giants are having serious trouble with their top-order. Quinton De Kock was dismissed early on and so was Ewin Lewis. The Star Sports panel had predicted the weakness of both the batters against off-spin and LSG exploited that. Washington Sundar got the wickets of these batters. Manish Pandey also was out for a mere score of 11 runs. LSG was reeling at 27-3. At the end of 6 overs, the scorecard read 32-3. Washington Sundar was ruling the game.
KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda, however, had different plans. KL was anchoring the innings. Deepak Hooda unleashed his beast side. He attacked and attacked and attacked. Deepak was flawless. His timing was perfect and his shots were powerful. KL and Deepak took the game ahead till the 15th over. When Deepak went back after an exceptional 51, the scorecard read 114-4. KL Rahul took the responsibility on himself. KL Rahul smacked 20 runs off 1 over of Washi. But before KL could do much damage in the death overs, he perished. Romario Shepherd and T Natarajan bowled exceptional last two overs and pulled the game back in the favor of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Ayush Badoni also contributed 17 odd runs to the tally.

The run-chase was not very amazing. The innings began on a sour note for the Nawabs from Hyderabad. Kane Willaimson was out early on in the innings to Avesh Khan. The scorecard read 25-1. Before much damage could be done by Abhishek Sharma, Avesh Khan sent him back too. Avesh was on fire. His energy on the field was amazing. At the end of the powerplay, the Sunrisers Hyderabad were struggling. The scoreboard read 40-2. Rahul Tripathi and Nicholas Pooran did try to give stability to the innings.
Nicholas Pooran was connecting well, while Tripathi played the anchoring role. Before this partnership, Markram had tried to take things under his control. Nicholas Pooran was out to Avesh Khan once again! While going back, the scorecard read 143-5. Washington Sundar and Romario Shepherd then tried to get the Hyderabadis to victory. But by that time, Avesh had rolled over most of the team. The remaining part of the game was ruled by Jason Holder with the ball. SRH ended with a mere 157/9.
