IPL 2022, RCB VS PBKS, RCB Batting Innings:

The Royal Challengers Bangalore started their season on an all-time high. Anuj Rawat opened alongside Faf Du Plessis. Rawat, the boy from Delhi opened and attacked the opposition. He punished the Punjab Kings before getting perished at the score of 50. It was 50 for 1 when Virat walked in to bat. Virat and Faf moved the strike around. This was just the calm before the storm. Faf was once batting at a strike rate of 70. Then came the 14th over of the innings. Harpreet Brar was at the mercy of both the veterans of the game. They struck 3 sixes in that over. The next over by Odean Smith was taken for 23 runs. Dinesh Karthik gave the cherry on the top by scoring a quick-fire 32 of 41 balls. Faf Du Plessis was the superstar with 88 of 58 balls.

RCB VS PBKS, Punjab Kings Batting Innings:

The Punjab Kings also batted amazingly well. Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan tonked the bowlers in the first few overs. The second over fetched 15 runs. Siraj was the culprit this time. The surprise package was Bhanuka Rajapaksha. Rajapaksha got the much-needed acceleration to the Punjab innings. He scored 43 of 23 balls before getting out to Siraj. The very next ball by Siraj was a ”jaffa” by Siraj and it got rid of Raj Angad Bawa. The young man didn’t expect such a full delivery. Shikhar Dhawan fell to a slower ball by Harshal Patel, handed out a catch to Anuj Rawat.

Liam Livingstone, Odean Smith, and Shahrukh Khan had to get the task done now. Odean Smith was in the mood. He stood to the hype that his name has in India. He was tonking the ball. Siraj also was taken to the cleaners. Shahrukh Khan very smartly focused on bringing Smith on strike. Harshal Patel had an off-day too. Most of the sixes came straight down the ground. Odean Smith scored 25 of 8 balls and remained not out.

Brief Scores:

Bhanuka Rajapaksha 44 of 23.

Shikhar Dhawan 43 of 29.

Odean Smith 25 of 8.

Mohammad Siraj 2/59.
