The IPL 2023 auction season is around the corner. That being said, there is also a buzz around the players who can bag the big bucks. Young players are the ones who are always in demand. 1) Cameron Green will be highly-priced at the IPL 2023 Auction:
Cameron Green is a like-to-like option for Shane Watson. The tall, blonde-haired bloke can open the innings and give a fiery start, and bowl 4 good overs if required. On his day, there isn’t a bigger match-winner than Cameron Green. Green can tonk the bowlers a very long way. He showed great promise in the recently concluded Australia tour of India in 2022. The IPL franchises have always liked to have players like him. Andrew Flintoff, Ben Stokes, Kieron Pollard, DJ Bravo, and Shivam Dube have all earned the big bucks at the IPL Auction. IPL 2023 will follow a similar trend.
2) Harry Brook will be in Demand at the IPL 2023 Auction:
Harry Brook is a player who is under the radar. He is playing exceptionally well in the limited opportunities that he has been getting. He is a regular feature in the England white-ball circuit but his batting opportunity comes less often as the England top and middle-order generally gets the job done. He can also be used as a floater. His pinch-hitting skills are at par with those of Liam Livingstone. Harry can fill the void of Kieron Pollard for the Mumbai Indians if the franchise wants to rest the big man before a few important games.
3) Shahbaz Ahmed:
After getting the India cap, Shahbaz Ahmed has become highly-priced. He is a like-to-like replacement for crucial players like Krunal Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel. He is a good left-arm spinner and a potent batter. For the past 2 years, Shahbaz has been associated with the RCB camp and it is this very management that has backed his potential. Shahbaz can bowl in the powerplay and he can also bowl in the middle overs if required. He is not a big turner of the ball but produces drift. If RCB releases Shahbaz, he will get the bucks rolling in at the IPL 2023 Auction.
