Delhi Capitals: As each day is passing by, Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is getting exciting. The business end of the tournament is around the corner and the race to playoffs is on. We are still unsure about who will be the four teams to qualify for the playoffs as all the franchises are leaving no stone unturned to make their case strong.
IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals on the verge of elimination from the IPL
Delhi Capitals are having the worst possible season in the ongoing 16th edition of the league. They lost their first five games on the trot, which dented their chances of qualifying. They made a comeback in the second half by winning a few games, but with the kind of competition that is around, they needed something miraculous.
DC are reeling last on the points table with 4 wins from the 11 games. They were quite in the hunt but their loss to Chennai Super Kings in their recent encounter has almost knocked them out of the tournament. Although they are not officially eliminated, but their chances are second to none.

DC have three games remaining now. Even if they managed to win all the games, they will move to a maximum of 14 points, which won’t be enough to qualify considering they the traffic jam in the points table.
Their chances to qualify for the playoffs have been reduced to 2% and for them to qualify now, they need to win all their three games by a big margin and then hope for some other results to go in their favour. If we look at the situation of the points, it’s fair to say that their hopes are all but over.
