IPL 2023: DC won the match against the Punjab Kings by 15 runs and almost blocked the Punjab’s chances for playoffs qualification. Liam Livingstone played a Stormy inning and knocked 94 runs with nine sixes but couldn’t win this match for his team.

Rilee Rossouw played an impactful inning for his team and knocked 82 runs with a strike rate of 221.62, whereas Prithvi Shaw and Warner made 54 and 46 runs, respectively, and were responsible for a good start. Anrich Nortje and Ishan Sharma took two wickets and bowled an excellent spell.

Punjab lost the Important match:

In the Second Inning, Skipper Shikhar Dhawan got out for Golden Duck but Atharv Taide and Prabhsimran Singh took charge and scored 47 runs in the powerplay. Atharv and Liam Livingstone both played a fantastic knock for their team.

Atharva has scored 55 runs in 42 balls and played a responsible inning but got retired hurt, so that a power hitter can comes into the ground. Liam Livingstone played a magnificent inning of 94 runs in 48 balls and 16 runs were needed in the last three balls, but Liam couldn’t make it, hence PBKS lost the match.

Ishant and Nortje both had taken two wickets:

Delhi Bowlers bowled a good spell in the powerplay, but in the middle overs, They failed to take the wicket of Liam Livingstone, who was dealing with Delhi’s bowlers in boundaries only. Anrich Nortje and Ishant Sharma got two wickets each, whereas Khaleel and Axar had taken one wicket.

DC crossed 200 runs:

In the First Inning, Delhi Capitals scored their first 200+ runs of TATA IPL 2023. Prithvi Shaw returned in the playing 11 and opens with David Warner; both made 94 runs partnership. Prithvi knocked his first fifty of this season and showed good intent today after the consecutive failure. David Warner has scored 46 runs in 31 balls with five fours and two sixes.

Rilee Rossouw played a blasting inning in Dharamshala, scoring 82 runs in just 37 balls with six sixes and six fours. He continued the firing work, and Phil Salt supported him from the other end, he knocked 26 runs with two sixes and two fours in 14 balls. They led DC to 213 runs on the scoreboard.

PBKS bowlers leaks lots of runs:

A Poor Performance from PBKS bowlers led Delhi batters to score such a massive target. Sam Curran was the only bowler who took wicket, and he got two wickets. Rahul Chahar bowled with an economy rate of 8.75, and only these two bowlers had an economy rate less than 10.00.
