The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 concluded on a very high note. The 74 games that took place this season were a treat to the eyes as all the teams fought tooth and nail to give immense entertainment. But in the end, it was MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings who produced a magnificent effort and went on to clinch their fifth title in the league.

Be it with bat or ball there were quite a few brilliant individual performances this season. Shubman Gill was the wrecker-in-chief with the bat whereas his teammate Mohammed Shami was the best bowler of the tournament. Based on individual performances, famous commentator Harsha Bhogle has picked his IPL 2023. But what caught the attention of many was he left out Virat Kohli, who scored over 600 runs, and Faf du Plessis, who had over 700 runs.
Shubman Gill, who won the orange cap for scoring 89 runs, will open the innings in Harshal Bhogle’s team of the IPL 2023 along with Rajasthan Royals opener Yashasvi Jaiswal. The southpaw impressed many with his sensational batting this season as he scored 625 runs.
Mumbai Indians all-rounder Cameron Green who was decent with both bat and ball in the league will bat at No.3 in Harsha Bhogle’s IPL 2023 teams. He will be followed by Suryakumar Yadav, who had his best season in the league with over 600 runs, at No.4. Wheres Heinrich Klaasen will be the keeper in the team. He single-handedly handled with batting lineup of the SRH this season.
Rinku Singh, the man of 5 sixes, has been picked by Harsha Bhogle as a finisher in his team of the IPL 2023. The KKR batter was one of the most consistent batters in the league this year. The spin-bowling all-rounder in Ravindra Jadeja and Rashid Khan are also part of the team. Both were terrific with bat and ball in the league. While the Indian star picked 20 wickets, the Afghanistan bowler scalped 27 wickets.
Mohammad Shami who won the purple cap in the IPL 2023 will form the pace attack with Mohammed Siraj and Matheesha Pathirana in the team of the tournament. The trio were extremely brilliant with the ball for the respective teams and were the main reason behind their side’s success. Apart from this, he picked, Shivam Dube, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel and Mohit Sharma as four impact subs.
