IPL 2023: LSG won the match by seven wickets, Nicholas Pooran finished the game as he scored 44 runs with a strike rate of 338.46 and bombarded four sixes, whereas Prerak Mankad knocked 64 runs with a strike rate of 142.22. Marcus Stoinis also played an impactful inning and scored 40 runs in 25 balls. Krunal Pandya has taken two crucial wickets.
Sunrisers Hyderabad failed to defend the target of 182 runs, they batted well in the first inning and bowled well in the starting ten overs of the second inning, but in the next ten overs, they gave lots of runs. The 16th over of Abhishek Sharma turned the whole match’s momentum as he gave 31 runs in that over. Heinrich Klaasen knocked 47 runs and was the only batter who played well from the SRH side.
LSG won the important match:
In the Second Inning, LSG lost Kyle Mayers’s wicket in the powerplay, and he scored only two runs in 14 balls, whereas his partner, Quinton De Kock, scored 29 runs in 19 balls. Prerak Mankad and Marcus Stoinis made a vital partnership of 72 runs for the third wicket. Prerak Mankad showed good intent as he tried to rotate the strike and also Knocked good shots when the ball came into his slot.
Mankad scored 64 runs in 45 balls whereas Marcus stoinis played a slow in the starting, but in the last few balls of his inning, he knocked three huge sixes and scored 40 runs in 25 balls. Nicholas Pooran is known for his finish role and today, he proved it and knocked some terrific boundaries hence LSG won the match.
SRH’s Bowlers Decent Bowling:
Sunrisers Hyderabad had good control in the game till the starting first half of the second inning, but after it, when Stoinis and Mankad started hitting boundaries then, they lost the game’s momentum. Glenn Philips bowled two overs and took one wicket, whereas Mayank and Abhishek took one wicket and gave lots of runs in just three overs spell.
SRH made 180 runs in 20 overs:
In the First Inning, Hyderabad came to bat first and In the starting few overs, they struggled, but after it, a nice comeback by SRH batters also played well. Anmolpreet Singh has scored 36 runs in 27 balls with seven fours.
In the middle overs, Heinrich Klaasen played a perfect inning and shifted the game’s momentum. He scored 47 runs with a strike rate of 162.07 and knocked three fours with three sixes. Skipper Aiden Markram again played a small inning of 28 runs, and In the last overs, Abdul Samad proved his finishing role one more time and knocked 37 runs with four sixes.
LSG’s new skipper kept trying new things:
Skipper Krunal Pandya bowled a perfect spell and took two wickets with an economy rate of 6.00. Other bowlers leaked many runs but took wickets as well. Yudhvir, Amit, Avesh, and Yash had taken one wickets each.
