MS Dhoni: Chennai Super Kings are having a decent campaign in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. They have won two games and have suffered two losses as well. But there have been many injury concerns in their camp as quite a few players have suffered some sort of injury and are out of the action. However, despite some concerns in the camp they have played some exceptional brands of cricket.
IPL 2023: MS Dhoni to be available for the game against RCB
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni gave a mini heart attack to his fans after he was seen limping while walking back to the dressing room after the game against Rajasthan Royals (RR). However, after the game, the team’s head coach Stephen Fleming opened up about the same.
He admitted that MS Dhoni has been nursing a knee injury and was in immense pain after the Rajasthan Royals. After that, there have been many speculations if the keeper batter will be available for the next game or not. Many reports also suggested that he might miss the game.
But the CEO of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Kasi Viswanathan quashed off all the reports. He said that MS Dhoni will play. Before adding that although he’s suffering an injury, the keeper batter has not told anything. Speaking to Cricbuzz, he said:

“He will play. It is true that he has an injury to his knee but he has not told us otherwise.”Kasi Viswanathan said.
Dhoniwas last seen in action in the game against Rajasthan Royals (RR). It was his 200th game as a skipper of the team. He made it special as he played a staggering knock and almost won the game for his team. He scored 32 runs in 17 balls with the help of 1 four and 3 sixes. He took the game down to the last ball but unfortunately couldn’t manage to take his side past the finishing line.
IPL 2023: Kasi Viswanathan reveals about the availability of Ben Stokes
Another injury concern that is in the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) camp is of Ben Stokes. The all-rounder just played two games for the team this season and has been out of the action since then. It is learned that he suffered a toe injury while bowing in the nets and has been struggling with it.
There have been many speculations about when will he play and now Kasi Viswanathan has talked about his availability as well. He revealed that he might come back by 30th April.
“Ben is doing well, he is recovering fast, and should definitely be fit for the April 30 game He could even be ready earlier, maybe by the April 27 game.” He said.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be next seen in action when they will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Monday (17th April) at the Chinnaswamy stadium.
