IPL 2023 Points Table, Orange Cap, Purple Cap: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were up against each other in match number 25 of the Tata IPL 2023 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. It was a perfect setting for the two heavyweights to clash and produce an entertaining run-fest.
The contest began with CSK batting first after RCB won the toss and decided to bowl. CSK posted a massive total of 226 runs in 20 overs with Devon Conway and Shivam Dube ripping apart the RCB bowling unit. Conway scored 83 in 45 balls and Shivam Dube registered a 24-ball fifty. While Glenn Maxwell scored 76 runs in innings in 36 deliveries, du Plessis contributed with his sublime 62 from 33 deliveries. After the fall of these two wickets, RCB started losing momentum and eventually lost the game by eight runs.

CSK opener Devon Conway has also made significant gains to enter the top 10 of the IPL 2023 Orange Cap tally. Conway has amassed 181 runs in five innings at an excellent strike rate of 148.36.
IPL 2023 Purple Cap
CSK young pacer Tushar Deshpande scalped three wickets against RCB owing to which he has entered the top five of the IPL 2023 Purple Cap race. Deshpande has scalped 10 wickets in five innings and is placed fifth on the list.
RCB pace spearhead Mohammad Siraj is placed one place below Tushar Deshpande with eight wickets in five matches so far in the IPL 2023.
The IPL 2023 Purple Cap list is led by RR spinner Yuzvendra Chahal with 11 wickets in five innings. Chahal is followed by Mark Wood and Rashid Khan with the same number of wickets.
