IPL 2023: Predicting most expensive player of the Tata IPL 2023 Auction: The Player retentions of all the 10 Indian Premier League (IPL) teams are over and now all eyes are set on the IPL 2023 Auction, which is scheduled to be held in Kochi on December 23. With just a month left for the mini-auction, the think tanks of all the franchises are brainstorming to get the best deals from the auction table.

However, everyone knows things go haywire on auction day. The uncertainty of the auction is such that some unexpected players bag one of the hefty bids of the season while the players who were actually anticipated to go bonkers get sold in a bargain deal.

If we look at the auction dynamics, more often than not the all-rounders manage to make a steal deal. The players who have the ability of bowling along with hitting abilities are always in demand and fetch a handsome cheque.

As of now, the player retention is complete and the process of picking the right player from the auction has begun. All the teams would be making their plans and strategies for the auction day as to who they will acquire to strengthen their arsenal for the IPL 2023.

How often do we hear players making the most of the given opportunities? Quite often, No! But Australian young all-rounder Cameron Green is a classic example of how to grab the opportunity with both hands open.

Green made most of David Warner’s absence in the Australian T20I side and made a huge name for himself. In three-match T20I series against India, Cameron Green slammed two quickfire half-centuries and planted a strong thought in the minds of cricket experts and think tanks.

Notably, Green is 23 years old and can contribute for good 10 years in any franchise. He can be a long-term solution for a team in the Indian Premier League.
