Rajasthan Royals: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is about to reach its business end. The competition this time around has been immense as all the teams are in contention and are leaving no stone unturned to make their case strong. Things have started to become tense for the finalists of the last year’s Rajasthan Royals (RR). They dominated the first half of the league and looked like one of the hot favourites to qualify for the playoffs of the IPL 2023. They currently have 5 wins and 6 losses from 11 games with 10 points to their name.
The second half of the tournament hasn’t been good for them as they lost 5 out of their last 6 games. Despite the loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad, they are currently 4th on the points table. But with the kind of competition there is, it’s fair to say that they will slip out of the top 4 real soon.

The chances of RR qualifying for the playoffs have reduced to 25%. However, they still are in contention and can surpass all the rivals to make it into the playoffs. All they have to do is they need to win their last three games, which will ensure that they earn the spot.
A win in the next three games will take Rajasthan Royals to 16 points. They are currently sharing the 10-point stack alongside three teams and three wins would ensure that three teams will get knocked out of the tournament. Also, they have a brilliant net run rate, thanks to their dominance in the first half. They can pip other teams in terms of NRR as well.

RR have played 11 games so far and have three games left now. They will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) next at Eden Gardens before hosting Royal Challengers Bangalore. Their last game will be played against Punjab Kings at Dharmashala.
