IPL 2023: MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are having a decent campaign in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. They started the league on a losing note as they suffered a disappointing loss against Gujarat Titans (GT) in their first game. But after that, they made a spectacular comeback and thumped Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (MI) to win two games. It’s fair to say that they have found the right balance and with the way they are going, they are one of the favourites to win the tournament.

The inexperienced bowling lineup of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) so far has done a terrific job in the league. Although they have leaked runs at some stages but they also have been quick to learn from their mistakes. After suffering a loss against Gujarat Titans in their first game of the tournament, the Dhoni-led side has made a comeback to win two games on the trot.

Young CSK pacers were taken to the cleaners in the first game. After that, they came back strongly and bowled exceptionally well in the death to help their side win the next two games. Despite their good performances, one thing skipper MS Dhoni was unhappy about was the number of no-balls and wides they bowled.

In the game against LSG, they conceded 18 extra runs out of which 13 came from wides, 3 from No balls and 2 from leg byes. After the game, Dhoni was furious too and said that if his pacers don’t stop bowling wides and no balls they will have to play under a different captain. However, after that, they game the number of extras was reduced.
