Meanwhile, LSG bowlers kept things tight and didn’t let the MI batters take control of the situation. Ishan Kishan was soon dismissed by Ravi Bishnoi at a score of 32 runs. in the next few overs, Nehal Wadhera was also removed at a score of 46 runs.

Tim David tried to up the ante and got some crucial runs for the teams at the end. The Aussie batter pumped in 35 runs in just 18 deliveries to help his side reach 144 in 20 overs.

The ask was pretty simple for the KL Rahul-led LSG. Skipper KL Rahul played a good 28-run steady innings followed by Marcus Stoinis’ 62-run match-winning knock in 45 deliveries.

As LSG looked on track to fetch the target, they started losing wickets. Though eventually they managed to seal the game by four wickets, the hiccups were always there in the end, with them requiring 13 runs off the last two overs.

Nicholas Pooran kept ticking the scoreboard before he took his side to a convincing win in the end against MI.
