IPL 2024: RCB playing 11 for the game against CSK prediction

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the tournament opener of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The game will be played on 22nd March at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. It’s fair to say that there could’ve been no better match than the Southern Derby to kickstart the league.

Coming to the playing 11 of the RCB for the first game against CSK, there’s no brainer that skipper Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli will be opening the innings. The duo has been extremely successful as a pair in the league and they will be crucial for the team’s success this year. 

At No.3, Rajat Patidar is expected to bat. He missed the last season for the team due to injury and would be hoping to claim his stake back for the team in the IPL 2024. The tournament will be extremely important for him because he recently bagged failures of the Indian team as well.

Dinesh Karthik, who will be playing his last season in IPL, is expected to keep the wickets. He is likely to perform the finisher’s role with the Mahipal Lomror in the team. Karn Sharma is expected to be the leg-spinner in the team since they don’t have any big names in the spin bowling department. 

Mohammed Siraj, Lockie Ferguson and Akash Deep are likely to be the three frontline pacers for the RCB in the game against CSK in IPL 2024.
