1. Harshal Patel (Royal Challengers Bangalore):
The new RCB pace gun, Harshal Patel grabbed all the headlines after he managed to pick his maiden fifer against Mumbai Indians (MI). With his heroics in the first game of the season, Patel became the first bowler to pick five wickets against Mumbai Indians (MI).
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) traded him from Delhi Capitals (DC) ahead of the Vivo IPL 2021 auctions in an all-cash deal and it turned out to be a golden move for the franchise.
Patel got the opportunity in the very first game for RCB, and proved his mettle. He remained consistent and picked most of his wickets at the death.
Although he was a bit expensive and was also taken for 37 runs in an over by Ravindra Jadeja, Harshal Patel is a brilliant and skilful pacer with all the weapons in his arsenal.
In the seven games of the Vivo IPL 2021, he clipped off 17 wickets and is leading the wicket takers chart.
