The kiwi pacer didn’t have a fruitful IPL outing in the first half of 2021 as he managed to pick only 8 wickets in the first seven games, however, his experience and calibre can anytime leave the stats behind.
His previous outing in the UAE kept him ahead of the batters as he clipped off 25 wickets in 15 games and was also the third highest wicket taker.

3. Avesh Khan (Delhi Capitals):
Avesh Khan made his T20 debut back in 2017 for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) but did not get enough opportunity to perform. In his debut game, he picked one wicket and was instantly dropped from the squad.
Since 2018, Avesh Khan has been associated with Delhi based IPL franchise and has been consistently retained by them. His past IPL stats didn’t go well with his current IPL stats and was not given enough opportunity.
In 2021, in the absence of Anrich Nortje in the first couple of games, Delhi Capitals picked him up for the final 11 and he stole all the limelight with his pace.
In the 8 games of the Vivo IPL 2021, Khan picked up 14 wickets at an economy of 7.70.

His consistent run in the shortest format has lifted him to number two of the ICC T20Is bowlers ranking.

1. Harshal Patel (Royal Challengers Bangalore):
The new RCB pace gun, Harshal Patel grabbed all the headlines after he managed to pick his maiden fifer against Mumbai Indians (MI). With his heroics in the first game of the season, Patel became the first bowler to pick five wickets against Mumbai Indians (MI).
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) traded him from Delhi Capitals (DC) ahead of the Vivo IPL 2021 auctions in an all-cash deal and it turned out to be a golden move for the franchise.
Patel got the opportunity in the very first game for RCB, and proved his mettle. He remained consistent and picked most of his wickets at the death.
Although he was a bit expensive and was also taken for 37 runs in an over by Ravindra Jadeja, Harshal Patel is a brilliant and skilful pacer with all the weapons in his arsenal.
In the seven games of the Vivo IPL 2021, he clipped off 17 wickets and is leading the wicket takers chart.
