IPL 2023 auction date and time, venue, retain, and release players: The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction preparation is going on. The BCCI has officially confirmed that the IPL 2023 auction will be held on December 23 in Kochi, Kerala. The BCCI also increased the auction purse to INR 5 crore, so now teams can spend INR 95 crore to buy players.

The final retention list must be sent to BCCI by November 15th. The IPL 2023 Auction, which takes place on December 23, will feature 650 expected players. One day will be all that is needed to complete this mini auction.

As we know there are 10 teams will play 74 matches in the IPLT20 league. The current defending champion Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) is not expecting much changes in the team but other teams might release few playas to strengthen their team.

Earlier BCCI planned to take the Auction global Istanbul (Turkey) and Bengaluru was also an alternative location. Final Cricket Control Board in India take a call to organize the IPL 2023 Auction in Kochi.
