Jasprit Bumrah amidst criticism once again as he shares his recovery video on social media: Team India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has again found a way to reach the centre of criticism as he uploads a fresh video on his social media handles to update his recovery. However, things didn’t boil down as expected as the fans started targeting the pacer for focusing on the Indian Premier League (IPL) and not international cricket.

Notably, the right-arm pacer was ruled out of the recently completed ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 owing to a back injury. He even didn’t feature in the Asia Cup 2022 due to his injury issues.

Team India relies heavily on Jasprit Bumrah’s services across different formats. He is always been the go-to man for the Indian skippers during difficult times, but his absence in the T20 World Cup 2022 caused a major dent in India’s campaign in the tournament.

Although India felt comfortable even without Bumrah in the group stages, his absence was greatly felt during the second semi-final against England where the Indian bowlers failed miserably to scalp a single wicket. Owing to poor bowling performance in the knockout match, England ensured India’s exit from the tournament along with a 10-wicket defeat.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old pacer has provided an update on his injury as he shared a short video clip. “Never easy, but always worth it,” wrote Jasprit Bumrah in the caption of the video.

Soon after the pacer uploaded his workout video, there were mixed reactions from the fans. While one section supported the pacer and encouraged him to get back on the cricket field at the earliest, the other section criticised him for being proactive in participating in the Indian Premier League. Some even accused him playing just for money.
