Jasprit Bumrah to play the second IND vs ENG Test? Pacer puts hard yards in the nets at Edgbaston
Indian Cricket Team fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was seen bowling in the nets ahead of the second Test against the England Cricket Team. The game between the two teams will take place at Edgbaston in Birmingham on 2nd July.
Jasprit Bumrah, who played an important role for India in the first Test against England, as per many media reports, is all set to miss the second game of the series at Edgbaston in Birmingham. This is because to manage his workload, the Team management decided to rest him.
Ahead of the series, it was already decided that Jasprit Bumrah would play only three games. This is because he faced a back injury after he played all five games in Australia. However, to manage his workload, he is recommended to play just three games.
With reports of him not playing in the second Test doing the rounds, another massive development took the internet by storm. The fast bowler, who didn't bowl in the nets last night, was back in the practice session and was seen bowling at full throttle in the nets.
The fast bowler, along with Prasidh Krishna, was seen bowling to the batters. This now signals that he might be there for the second game. He was seen preparing very hard and confirmation will be there when Team management names the XI.
