On Tuesday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed Indian ace pacer to be the winner of the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year at the ICC Awards 2024. With that, he also won the Player of the Tournament award in the T20 World Cup 2024, with 15 wickets at an incredible economy rate of 4.17. In Test cricket, Bumrah finished with 32 wickets in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 at an average of 14.92 and a strike rate of 30.1.
