The ground is located in the Kennington area of London, England. The Oval has a seating capacity of about 25,000 spectators, making it one of England’s largest cricket grounds. It was established in 1845.

The Oval Cricket Ground hosted several international cricket matches, including the final of the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 and the Women’s Cricket World Cup final in 1973 and 1993. Team India won the first title of the Champions Trophy in 2023 against England Cricket Team.

The Oval witnessed some memorable moments of England, including England’s first-ever Test victory in 1880 against Mighty Australia and their first Ashes victory on home soil in 1882.

The pitch at the Kennington Oval cricket ground is good for batsmen. When a team wins the toss, they usually choose to bat first to score good runs and then defend that Target.
