List of Records Broken by India during IND vs WI 4th T20I: Riding on the back of sensational efforts from opener Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal, team India registered their second win of the five-match T20I series against West Indies in Lauderhill, last night. With the win, Team India also levelled the series 2-2 with one final game to go, on August 13.
After registering a meek score of 1 run in his debut T20I game, Yashasvi Jaiswal got himself some cushion with unbeaten innings of 84 runs in 51 deliveries. The young batter never once looked uncomfortable in the chase of 178 runs during the IND vs WI 4th T20I.
While Jaiswal read the conditions on one end and rightly exploited them, his opening partner Shubman Gill was not in the mood to feel left out. Gill also took the opportunity to steal some limelight as he went on to score 77 runs in 47 balls.
Team India chased down the Total of 178 runs in just 17 overs and won the contest by nine wickets. Shubman Gill was the only wicket that fell in the second innings.
The five-game IND vs WI T20I series is now at its climax as fans await the proceedings of the final game of the tour. The IND vs WI 5th T20I will be held on 13th August in Lauderhill, Florida.

Indian openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill amassed a score of 165 runs before the fall of the first wicket in the form of Shubman Gill. The partnership between the two young openers has now equalled the record of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, who had stitched a sensational partnership of 165 runs in 2017, which is the highest opening partnership for India in T20Is.
165 Runs Third Highest Partnership for India in T20Is:
Overall Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill’s partnership of 165 runs is third highest for India in the T20Is. The second highest being between Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul in 2017. The highest T20I partnership for India is of 176 runs between Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson against Ireland.
Yashasvi Jaiswal 4th Youngest to Score T20I Half-Century for India:
Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal remained unbeaten at a score of 84 runs in 51 deliveries during his 2nd T20I game. He has now become the fourth youngest Indian to score a T20I half-century. Ahead of him are, Rishabh Pant, Tilak Varma and Rohit Sharma.
