LSG are hopeful that Mayank Yadav will join the squad by 2nd week of April for the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League. Mayank is moving forward from his recovery and Lucknow Supergiants are waiting for the approval from the BCCI Centre Of Excellence regarding the pacer.

LSG are hopeful that pacer Mayank Yadav will be ready to get into the squad maybe 11 or 12 April as Mayank continues to move forward in his recovery from injury. A statement from a report says that Mayank Yadav was still in recovery mode from a stress injury. After Mayank's debut for India in T20I against Bangladesh, the pacer is recovering at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru and recently, Mayank is seen to start bowling.

There was a report that there is a high chance that Mayank Yadav will miss the first half of the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League and the latest report says that Mayank will join the Lucknow Supergiants squad on the second week of April. A source said that Mayank Yadav is doing well in the Practice Session and is ready for the match. The only thing that Lucknow supergiant are waiting for is the green light from the Centre of Excellence, which will allow Mayank Yadav to join the squad.

The source said that the Lucknow Supergiants are hopeful that he will join the squad sooner. If he joins the Lucknow Supergiants squad by given date of 11 or 12 of April, it mean that Mayank will miss at least the first seven matches, including , Chennai Super Kings,Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, and Delhi Capitals.
