MI vs LSG: 2 Changes that Mumbai Indians might make for the eliminator against Lucknow Super Giants 3

Coming to the Mumbai Indians, they will lock horns with Lucknow Super Giants in the eliminator on Wednesday (24th May. They were right on the money in the league stage but a few concerns were there too. Therefore with the knockout game on cards, they would be looking to give their 100% and advance further. Let’s take a look at 2 Changes that Mumbai Indians might make for the eliminator against Lucknow Super Giants

1.  Hrithik Shooken in place of Kumar Kartikeya

Hrithik Shokeen might be in contention to make it into the XI to Mumbai Indians for the game against Lucknow Super Giants. The change might be on the cards due to the tactics as the opposition has quite a few left-handers in the team and an off-spinner against them could be handy. Kartikeya has been impressive in the opportunities that he has got but might have to make way. Also, the pitch in Chepauk offers help for the spinners and it’s fair to say that being the off-spinner Shooken could be handy for the team.

2. Riley Meredith in place of Chris Jordan

Chris Jordan has been the biggest concern for Mumbai Indians this season. The pacer was brought in as a replacement for Jofra Archer in the team but he didn’t live up to expectations as he leaked runs at the death and has one of the main reasons behind Mumbai Indians’ poor death bowling. Riley Meredith on the other hand has been terrific in the limited opportunities that he has got. He has been bowling good lengths in the death as well and could be handy for the team.
