As per the reports in ESPNCricinfo, it is learned that pacers are expected to join their respective teams on time.

Australia pace battery in Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins have been out of action since the January this year. The trio got injured during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 and then missed the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which was a major blow for the team.

While Pat Cummins himself confirmed his availability for the IPL 2025, there were a lot of concerns over the fitness of Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood. But the reports have claimed that the duo have regained their full fitness and are all set to play the entire season of the league.

Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlwood will be joining their respective teams in IPL 2025 soon

Mitchell Starc suffered an ankle niggle during the two-Test series against Sri Lanka and then missed the ODIs against the island nation, followed by the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He is now set to join his new team in IPL 2025. The pacer was brought by Delhi Capitals in the auction. The pacer was part of Kolkata Knight Riders last year.

On the other hand, Josh Hazlewood was brought by Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL auction. He has been part of the franchise for the last few years and would be keen to play a major role for the team this year as well. Both him and Starc will be joining their teams soon.

The reports also claimed that Australian players who have been picked in the IPL 2025 are all set to prioritise league over domestic cricket. Some of the players have already joined their franchises and have begun their preparations for the league.

The IPL 2025 is all set to begin on 22nd March with the blockbuster clash between Kolkata Knight Riders and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The Ajinkya Rahane-led side are the defending champions and would be keen to start next season on high.
