IPL 2021 News & Updates: The Kerala batsman, Mohammad Azarauddin makes all the right noises to knock the doors of IPL franchise with his during hundred. While the name Mohammad Azarauddin reminds us of the former Indian cricketing legend while the budding cricketer is on his way to reach the IPL.

Azharuddin in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 smashed a 37-ball hundred against Mumbai to register a big win. Kerala registered a good win against the starred lineup of Mumbai.

Mumbai batting first scored 197 runs riding on Aditya Tare’s 42 and young Yashashvi Jaiswals 40. The total was good enough to put the opposition under pressure right from the start but the Kerala batsmen had some big plans.

Robin Uthappa and Mohammad Azarauddin came to open the innings for Kerala and smacked the Mumbai bowler all over the park. Both stitched 129 runs stand before the former getting out. Uthappa was dismissed by Shams Mulani, providing the first breakthrough.

Kerala skipper Sanju Samson came in to bat while well set Azarauddin was still in a different zone. Azharuddin did the maximum scoring for the side and both the batsmen remained unbeaten winning the game by 9 wickets with 4.1 overs to spare.

Mohammad Azharuddin scored 137 runs from 54 balls did a good audition for the upcoming edition of IPL. Azharuddin’s 137 is also the third-highest score in the shortest format by an Indian.

Punit Bisht scoring 51 balls Hundred:

The Meghalaya batsman, Punit Bisht shines with the bat on Wednesday to make his team register a memorable win. Bisht wrote his name in the history books by scoring a 51 ball 146 against Mizoram. This is the second-highest score by any Indian in the shortest format of the game.

Bisht in his innings of 146 struck 17 maximums and 6 fours. This team registered a 230 runs total in front of Mizoram to chase in 20 overs. As a result, Mizoram lost the game by huge 120 runs.

Both Punit Bisht and Mohammad Azarauddin are good young options for the teams like Chennai Super Kings, Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Roylas for the upcoming Indian Premier League edition.
