Most ODI runs in a three-match series for India. Ft Shubman Gill
India batting stalwart Shubman Gill has been in some form ever since his return to ODIs in the 3-match ODI series at home against rival nation England.
In the ongoing ODI series, Shubman Gill seems to be a player back to his prime, as Gill, under some tough batting conditions, smashed 87 well-made runs while chasing a total for India. Shubman Gill entered his 50th international ODI match at Ahmedabad, and with ample experience up his sleeves, Gill completed his 2500 runs in ODIs and became the fastest to do so, even going past the former great Hashim Amla.
The rising superstar marched back to form, following the footsteps of his skipper, Rohit Sharma, who scored a stellar hundred in the last ODI. Gill’s 95-ball hundred at Ahmedabad marked his first ODI hundred after a long wait of almost 500+ days and was also Gill’s first limited-overs hundred against England.
