Off-spinner Sajid Khan put Pakistan on the verge of victory against West Indies in the first Test, thanks to his exceptional performance with the ball. Khan's impressive bowling, alongside Noman Ali, left the visitors struggling at 54-5.

Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan made history on Sunday by reaching a significant milestone during the third day of the ongoing first Test against the West Indies. The right-arm spinner claimed his 50th Test wicket in the match, etching his name in the record books. He reached this landmark after dismissing West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite. His 50th wicket places him among the fastest bowlers from Pakistan to achieve the milestone, doing so in just his 11th Test match.

On Saturday, it took Sajid just seven balls to get his first wicket, what he later called "an offspinner's dream wicket," flighting the ball outside off stump, lulling Mikyle Louis into the drive, and sneaking through the gate to rattle the stumps. Eleven balls later, Sajid had four wickets to his name, West Indies' top order being cut to ribbons. West Indian batters simply had no answer to Sajid's guile as the bowler knocked over the first 4 batters. Apart from Louis, he also bowled a dream delivery to castle Hodge.

"As an offspinner, I have a bit of a complicated bowling style. I can't introduce too many new things to it," Sajid Khan said about his bowling.

Meanwhile, Jomel Warrican also shone with a career-best 7-32 in Pakistan's second innings.
