No place for Virat Kohli as Kane Williamson names his all-time Test XI, three Indians included

New Zealand Cricket Team batter Kane Williamson has named his all-time Test XI of the 21st century. What caught the attention of many was that he didn't name Virat Kohli in his team. The batter is rated as one of the best batters to have played the longest format of the game.

Kane Williamson's all-time Test XI includes three Indians. Former Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden, along with Virender Sehwag, are the two openers picked by him in the team. At three, he picked Ricky Ponting, who will also be leading the team.

At number four, it was a no-brainer as he picked Sachin Tendulkar, who is the leading run-getter in the Tests. The right-hander made incredible contributions to the Indian Cricket Team and helped his team register many famous wins.

Current Australia Cricket Team batter Steve Smith also features in Kane Williamson's all-time Test XI. The right-hander arguably is the best batter in the longest format of the game in the current generation. He is followed by AB de Villiers.

Kane Williamson picked MS Dhoni as the keeper-batter in his team. The former Indian cricketer had a decent time in the tests during his career.  He also captained India and made them the number-one team in the format.

Kane Williamson picked a deadly pace attack that included Dale Steyn, Shoaib Akhtar and Glenn McGrath. All three of them were among the threatening pacers in the world. He also picked Muthiah Muralidaran as the spinner in the team.
