However, after facing two back-to-back losses, Pakistan then finally made a comeback as they defeated Canada in their third game. However, the win didn’t help them much as their qualification for the Super 8 stage depends on the USA.
If the USA loses their last game against Ireland and Pakistan wins their last game against Ireland then the Babar Azam-led side will advance to the Super 8. However, if the USA beats Ireland, Pakistan will be eliminated from the tournament.
