Pak vs NZ Match Highlights: The New Zealand team has gone on a tour of Pakistan. This tour starts tomorrow (14 April) and will end on 7 May. Both teams will play five ODIs and five T20 matches. The first match of the five T20 series was played today at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan. The Pakistani team was led by Babar Azam, while the New Zealand team was led by Tom Latham in the absence of Kane Williamson.
Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, elected to bat first after winning the toss. In 19.5 overs, the team scored 182 runs while losing 10 wickets. Although the team’s beginnings weren’t particularly noteworthy, Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam, the first two players for Pakistan, were both dismissed during the power play. Chasing the target of 182 runs, the New Zealand team got all out for just 94 runs in 15.3 overs. Mark Chapman scored the highest inning total of 34 runs for New Zealand. For Pakistan, Haris Rawf took four wickets for 17 runs in 3.3 overs. Imad Wasim got two wickets, while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Zaman Khan, Faheem Ashraf, and Shadab Khan each got one wicket.
