PAK vs NZ T20I Series: NZ Squad Announced and Bracewell To Lead BlackCaps against Pakistan in T20I Series | Check Full Squad of NZ vs Pakistan

PAK vs NZ T20I Series: New Zealand Cricket have announced their T2O squad for the Pakistan Tour and Micheal Bracewell is named as the captain for the series.

New Zealand Cricket Board have announced a 15-membered squad for a 5-match T20I series in Pakistan in April 2024. The New Zealand tour of Pakistan only consists of a T20I Series and this will work as a good rehearsal for the Pakistan team before the T20 World Cup 2024.

This series is being played amid the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 so some big names like Kane Williamson, Glenn Phillips, Trent Boult and more are missing from the squad.

The New Zealand cricket team will be captained by Michael Bracewell in Pakistan. Bracewell hasn’t represented New Zealand since March of last year after breaking his finger and rupturing his right Achilles while playing for Worcestershire in the T20 Blast in June.

Head selector Sam Well said: “Michael has faced a long period on the sideline and it’s exciting to see him back playing cricket again. He’s a well-respected leader and has captaincy experience for Wellington along with New Zealand A and New Zealand XI teams, which we believe holds him in good stead to lead the group in Pakistan.”
