The Covid-19 positives case increases to 10 as three more fresh cases arrive in the Pakistani squad before the tour opener. The result for one more test is still pending. In the fresh round of checkups, 46 members of the Pakistan Squad were tested for the virus.

The Pakistan cricket team is on the tour of New Zealand for three-match T20I series and 2 match test series starting on December 18. However, it seems there is a break in the tour right now as the fresh new cases are coming from the visitors.

Pakistan Squad is already on alert for breaching the quarantine protocols and strict rules for the safety of players.

New Zealand’s director-general of health Dr. Ashley Bloomfield earlier criticized Pakistan for not following the rules set by the country.

Pakistan is already given a warning for the breach. To come and play the sport in New Zealand is a privilege but in return, teams must stick to the rules and regulations set to keep viruses away from the communities and our staff.

The health ministry also said the ban on the training of Pakistan will not be removed till the green signal is given to us by the medical officer of health.
