Player Retained by MI, CSK, DC, RCB, RR, PBKS, SRH, KKR: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Player Retention process is underway for the eight existing franchises. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) asked the franchises to submit the finalised list of at most four players that are to be retained for the coming season of the IPL.

IPL 2022 Retention Rules:

• Not more than 4 Players can be retained by franchises.
• A franchise can only retain a maximum of 3 Indian/domestic cricketers.
• IPL franchises can retain a maximum of 2 overseas cricketers.
