ENGvsIND: Playing 11 for India and England in the third test match at Headingley Leeds

ENGvsIND: India and England are all set for the beginning of the third test match at Headingley Leeds on Wednesday 25th August. The first two test matches had a dramatic final day to get an outcome. On one hand, the first test match ended in a draw due to a complete barrage of rain all throughout the final day while on the other hand, the second test match returned the result in India’s favour on the final day. The toss has happened in the Headingley and here is the Playing 11 for India and England.

This time around, Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bat first. India always loves to put a score on the board and let the bowlers do the rest. It was a bit of a surprise for Virat to win the toss, but a win is always crucial. India will appear unchanged from the last playing 11.

Ravichandran Ashwin will have to wait a little more to find a slot in the playing11. The four-seamers have done invariably well in the last game and disturbing the winning team combination could be a big gamble.

Joe Root came up with two changes in the playing11. First of all, pacer Mark Wood is unavailable for the test match, so Craig Overton comes in. Also, Dom Sibley was axed from the playing11 by the English selectors, so Dawid Malan comes in for him.
