PSL Updated Points table (2 March): The PSL 8 is featuring fierce competition as each of the franchises are competing to finish first on the PSL points table. The 8th edition of the Pakistan Super League, which features a battle amongst all six PSL teams for the coveted title, is currently at its most thrilling stage.
The clubs are fighting hard to gain points and mount the PSL points table in order to secure one of the desired top four spots and qualify for the PSL playoffs. In the league’s history, all six teams have lifted the trophy at least once, and Islamabad United holds the record for most titles by grabbing the title twice. Lahore Qalandars are the defending champions of the tournament.
The league stage has a double round-robin format with six teams, meaning each team will face every other team twice. There will be one home and one away game for each team. This season’s league stage will include a total of 30 games.
