The game was all said and done in the 1st half itself. And not even in the first half, Liverpool had set the tone in the first 15 minutes itself. They were in a riot. The cross came in from Cody Gakpo, who himself received the ball from Mohammed Salah. Diaz, the comeback man scored after 200+ days of not playing any football. The 15th minute saw Liverpool wins a penalty. Romero was the culprit who committed the foul in the D-Box. It was a rough challenge. And with that, it was 3-0!

The 39th minute saw a spectacle from Ivan Perisic. He tumbled Van Dijk down with his skill and chipped the ball to Harry Kane in the box. Harry Kane made a precise volley finish. Tottenham was able to pull one goal back before halftime. The last two minutes of the half saw Tottenham take 3 shots. 2 were saved and 1 hit the post. Son’s left-footed attempt was glorious.

2nd Half Review in Premier League:

The second half started with the Hotspurs hitting the pole twice. It was once by Son and once by Christian Romero. It just seemed as if Tottenham had run out of luck. Romero’s volley was splendid. It was Heung Min-Son who managed to get another goal back. He finished the pass from Romero. It was a precise ball to a well-timed run. This magic moment came in the 76th minute. Richarlison bought the equalizer from the bench. He came on late in the game and converted a set-piece cross. His header was well-timed, and the ball rolled into the back of the net.

With 2 minutes to play on the clock, Tottenham equalized. But Liverpool had other plans. It was a long pass from the goalkeeper. The Tottenham wing-back looked to pass the ball and ended up playing it in the danger area. The ball was won by Diogo Jota and it was finished to perfection. Liverpool won 4-3!

With this win, Liverpool have moved to number 5 in the Premier League table. They have moved ahead of Tottenham Hotspurs. The team has made a dramatic comeback this season. This is because just a few weeks ago they were hanging on the 12th or 13th position.
