Quinton De Kock Profile: There have been several relevant batters who proved their merit in the gentleman’s game, but only a few have been as convenient and reliable as the Proteas limited overs kingpin Quinton de Kock. De Kock established himself as one of the finest-ever limited-overs cricketers throughout all phases of his career, from his debut in international cricket in 2012 to his worldwide fame in 2013.

Due to his batting style, which is full of aggression and sublime conventional technique common for a left-handed batter, he is often referred to as one of the greatest ever limited-overs batsmen of his generation. He retired from test cricket in December 2021. He has another prolific ability to hit shorts all around the park, especially the leg side with several unorthodox shots, and is often mentioned as the most active player on the cricket field by cricket pundits as he has always been a go-to guy for his captains in both international and franchise cricket.

QDK holds several unique records, like being able to score four ODI centuries while playing for South Africa before his 21st birthday and being one of only four players in the world to score three consecutive ODI centuries. He also reached the 12-over landmark in 74 innings, breaking the record of fellow countryman Hashim Amla. He is the recipient of several accolades and was chosen as Men’s Cricketer of the Year at the CSA’s annual dinner in 2017.
