Vivo IPL 2021: In another blow to inaugural Champions Rajasthan Royals (RR) Australian pacer Andrew Tye pulled out of the fourteenth season of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).  Tye cited “personal reasons” for this act and flew back home on Sunday.

He becomes the fourth Rajasthan Royals (RR) overseas recruit to pull back from the IPL 2021. Earlier, Ben Stokes (Finger injury), Jofra Archer (hand surgery) and Liam Livingstone (bubble fatigue) had pulled out.

“AJ Tye flew back to Australia earlier today due to personal reasons. We will continue to offer any support he may need,” Royals tweeted on the day.

RR Director of Cricket Operations Kumar Sangakkara on Saturday after the win against KKR announced that Tye will be leaving the bubble as he had an early morning flight at 4 am on Sunday.

A few days ago, England cricketer Liam Livingstone had pulled back due to excessive bubble fatigue. He was in bubble life with the England national side for the past year or so.

England Cricket Board (ECB) on Friday released that Jofra Archer has begun high-intensity training however he will be back to the cricket field after a fortnight. It will be nearly impossible for him to arrive in India and continue for Rajasthan Royals(RR).

All-rounder Ben Stokes in the opening game of RR injured himself taking a diving catch. Later the repeated scans revealed that Stokes has sustained a finger fracture and will fly back home for further surgery.
