Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami to miss New Zealand clash, Rohit Sharma doubtful; replacements finalised

India National Cricket Team is all set to make a few changes in their XI for the next game against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The last league game of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be taking place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on 2nd March. 

Both India and New Zealand have qualified for the semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. But would be keen to carry on their good form and end the league stage on high. The win would be crucial for them as it will give them a lot of confidence heading into the semi-final. 

But, India National Cricket Team will see the game in which they can make a few things Test. As per the reports in RevSportz, it is learned that the Men in Blue are all set to make a few changes to their XI, some of which are likely to be forced due to injuries. 

It is learned that Ravindra Jadeja will be rested from the game against New Zealand. In his place, Varun Chakravarthy will be drafted into the XI. The mystery spinner will be keen to cash on the opportunity and make his case strong for the semi-final. 

Arshdeep Singh to replace Mohammed Shami, Rohit Sharma  doubtful to play the match against New Zealand, Rishabh Pant all set to be included in the XI 

The reports also added that Mohammed Shami will be missing the game too. The fast bowler felt some discomfort in his ankle during the last game, and it is learned that BCCI will rest him for the next game. This is because they want him to be 100% fit for the semi-final. 

Arshdeep Singh is all set to replace Mohammed Shami in the XI. The left-arm pacer hasn't played a single game in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He would also be keen to make a strong comeback and help his team win the game. 

On Rohit Sharma, it is learned that the batter is doubtful to play the match against New Zealand. The India captain suffered a hamstring pull, and it is learned that he won't be fit for the match. Rishabh Pant is all set to be included in the XI, but so far, there isn't any clarity on who he will replace.
