RCB playing XI for the IPL 2025 prediction

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be under the spotlight as IPL 2025 is around the corner. The franchise is yet to win the title in the league, and this time, it will be a great opportunity for them to end their title drought and give their fans something to cheer about.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be in the action on day 1 itself as they will be playing the tournament opener of the IPL 2025. They will be taking on defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday (23rd March).

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be captained by Rajat Patidar in the IPL 2025. The Madhya Pradesh batter was recently appointed as skipper of the team, keeping an eye on the future. He would be eager to start this stint on high and will be leading a team full of superstars.

On paper, RCB looks one of the strongest in the league as they have made a pretty balanced squad. It's fair to say that if they play to their potential, they will be one of the hot favourites to win the league. The Rajat Patidar-led side would want to start the tournament on high with a win over KKR.

Coming to their playing XI, it is almost certain that Virat Kohli will be opening the innings against Phil Salt. The premier batter has been the beast in the league and along with the English batter, he would be keen to form a formidable partnership in the IPL 2025.

At No.3, skipper Rajat Patidar is all set to walk out and he will be key for the RCB in the IPL 2025. The batter has been the best batter against spin and would want to continue his golden form as well.  English star Liam Livingstone is all set to bat at No.4 and will be playing a key role with the ball as well.

Jitesh Sharma will be taking over the keeping duties and will be playing the role of finisher along with Tim David. The two players were acquired by the franchise in the IPL 2025 auction and a lot would be reliant on them, especially with conditions being good at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Kunal Pandya will be the spin-bowling all-rounder for RCB in the IPL 2025. He played a crucial role for Lucknow Super Giants in the last few years and would be keen to carry on his good form in the next edition. He also has been in great touch in domestic cricket.

The fast bowling department of RCB is all set to be handled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yash Dayal. While the right-hander will be making a comeback for the team after IPL 2009, Dayal was retained by the franchise. Also, Josh Hazlewood will be there and it will make one of the best bowling lineups. Suyash Sharma is expected to be the leg-spinner.
