India skipper Rohit Sharma isn't 100% fit ahead of the team's next game in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Men in Blue will be up against New Zealand at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on 2nd March, which will be the last league game.

Ahead of the game, India is nursing an injury concern related to their skipper, Rohit Sharma. The right-hander reportedly is suffering front hamstring pull, which he faced in the game against Pakistan during their last game of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Rohit Sharma, while fielding, felt some discomfort in his hamstring and was seen stretching it out before walking off the field. At the end of the game, he also mentioned that it was a hamstring but didn't give a clear picture of the seriousness.

As India started their preparations for the next clash of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Rohit Sharma came to the attention. While the rest of the batters were involved in a net session, the India captain didn't do any practice at the ICC Academy in Dubai.

As per the reports in Cricbuzz, it is learned that Rohit Sharma was watching all his teams having a net session from the sidelines. The batter reportedly is being cautious so that he does not aggravate the injury ahead of the important last few games of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Rohit Sharma might rest himself for the New Zealand clash

It is also learned that Rohit Sharma might rest himself for the New Zealand clash, considering the bigger picture. Since both the teams have qualified for the semi-final, the match comparatively will be less important than other games, and the India captain can bear to take the rest.

India are also mulling over the fitness of Shubman Gill. The vice-captain didn't come out to attend the training session as he was unwell. But the reports claimed that he is likely to be fit for the New Zealand clash. Gill has been the team's top run-getter in the tournament and played a major role in two wins.
