RR Qualification Scenario for the IPL 2025 playoffs: Check how Rajasthan can make it into top four

Rajasthan Royals (RR) are having a tough time in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The Sanju Samson-led side are reeling at the bottom half of the table and their qualification for the playoffs of the tournament is in jeopardy. 

Things got even tougher for Rajasthan Royals (RR) after they faced a disappointing loss against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 42nd game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams took place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. 

Rajasthan Royals went on to face a disappointing 11-run loss against Royal Challengers Bengaluru as they were poor with the bat and ball. They opted to field first and couldn't resist opposition to the low total as they ended up giving 205 runs in the 20 overs. 

With the bat, Rajasthan Royals had a great start with Yashasvi Jaiswal scoring quick-fire 49 runs. After that, they lost wickets at regular intervals but were right on the track in the chase and it seemed that they would complete an easy win in the game. 

Dhurv Jurel played a vital hand to take his team close but the class of Josh Hazlewood was too much for him to handle. The pacer picked four wickets in the match and helped Royal Challengers Bengaluru win the game by the small margin of 11 runs. 

Qualification Scenario of Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2025 playoffs 

Rajasthan Royals are now the 8th on the points table with just two wins under their belt. They now have 5 games remaining and to make it into the top four, they need to win all the games. This will take them to 16 points and will potentially earn them a place in the playoffs. 

If they lose one game it would Virtually eliminate them from the tournament. Hence, to qualify, RR needs to win all their games in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 now.
