RR vs MI: Ruthless MI Stormed Away RR With A Huge Margin! Enters The TOP SPOT in the IPL Points Table 2025

RR vs MI 2025: SIXTH IN A ROW for Mumbai Indians! What a performance by the Mumbai Indians, first with the bat and then with the ball! The Mumbai Indians have defeated the Rajasthan Royals

MI's batting order was just thrashing away RR's bowling attack. Be it Rickelton, Rohit, SKY, or Hardik, everyone came and slaughtered everything coming to them. Later, with Bumrah's golden arm and Karn Sharma's impact leg-spin put MI at the top of the points table.

RR won the toss and asked MI to bat first. Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton opened the innings and cautiously watched off the first three overs. Then with a counterattack, posted a good total of 58 in the powerplay and more importantly, without losing any wickets.

They lost their first wicket at the score of 116 in the 12th over in the form of Ryan Rickelton. Rohit Sharma followed soon with a 36-ball 53. Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav then unleashed the carnage on the Rajasthan Bowlers. They both put forth stylish innings of 23-ball 48, pushing MI's total to 217.

The 14-year-old prodigy Suryavanshi couldn’t script a miracle this time, dismissed for a duck in the very first over. Jaiswal lit a brief fire with two cracking sixes off Boult, only to be undone by a searing delivery in the same over. Then came Bumrah, breathing fire, ripping through the middle order with two wickets in one over, marking the first time this season a side had crumbled to five down inside the powerplay.

Karn Sharma, brought in as the impact sub, spun a web and snatched three more. Only the final-wicket pair showed some resistance, dragging the innings past four overs and giving the crowd something to cheer as Jofra Archer muscled two brutal sixes on his way to a defiant 30. But the damage was done.

MI were flawless—sharp with the ball, electric in the field—and this was more than a win; it was a warning shot. RR are out of the tournament, joining CSK in the elimination. MI clinch their sixth straight victory and leap to the top of the table in style. They’re on a rampage—unstoppable and ruthless.
