In the recent episode, South Africa handed a crushing defeat to Bangladesh by a massive 149 runs at the Wankhede Stadium, last night. To aid de Kock's innings, Aiden Markram (60), Heinrich Klassen, and David Miller (34) played fiery knocks to take the team total to 382 runs in 50 overs. Klassen was the second-highest run-scorer as he wreaked havoc with his 49-ball 90-run innings.
The chase was not going to be easy for Bangladesh and they were under pressure right from the start of their batting. The Tigers lost wickets consistently, thanks to the brilliant bowling display from the Proteas. Later in the innings, Mahmadullah gave something to cheer for the Bangladeshi fans with his 111 runs knock in as many deliveries.
Barring Mahmudullah no other batter looked settled against the bowling unit of South Africa. Eventually, South Africa bundled out Bangladesh at a score of 233 runs in 46.4 overs and won the contest by 149 runs.
