#02. India: Virat Kohli – INR 7 crore
India believes in going with the same skipper across the formats in international cricket. Over the years, India has progressed in world cricket and are the modern-day champions. Kohli being one of the best batsmen in the world is in the top bracket of the BCCI’s central contract list.
Back in 2017, the Indian management opted for Virat Kohli to take the responsibilities in all three formats and since then there is no looking back to his career graph. He has experienced success with the captaincy and his batting records are just mind-boggling.
He will lead India in some key assignments. India will play the final of ICC World Test Championship against New Zealand in June while the following T20 World Cup will also be on the target list of Virat Kohli.
Being in the A+ category of BCCI’s central contract list, Virat Kohli receives a whopping INR 7 Crores annually.
