Pakistan T20I skipper Salman Agha has come up with a brutal dig at Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan after the win over New Zealand in the third T20I. He said that his boys aren't just here to make up numbers but are true match-winners.

Pakistan came up with a brilliant performance in the third T20I against New Zealand. After losing two back-to-back losses in the first two games, the Salman Agha-led side made a sensational comeback in the third match of the series.

Pakistan didn't have a great outing with the ball after they opted to field first. New Zealand batters in Mark Chapman (94) and Michael Bracewell (31*) played vital hands that powered Black Caps to the massive total of 204 runs on the board.

But, with the bat, Pakistan had a dominating outing. Mohammad Haris (41) and Hasan Nawaz (107*) made sure that give their team a flying start. After the keeper-batter was back in the hut, it was Nawaz who ensured that he took his team forward.

Hasan Nawaz slammed an unbeaten 105 runs off 45 balls. His innings were laced with 10 fours and 7 sixes as he batted with a strike rate of over 233. He was well supported by skipper Salman Agha, who slammed fifty, as Pakistan completed an easy win with 4 overs to spare.

My boys aren’t just here to make up the numbers - Salman Agha after Pakistan's win over New Zealand in third T20I

After the win, Salman Agha came up with a strong message, saying that his team isn't bothered by milestones. He admitted that although they are inexperienced but they are match winners. Taking to his Twitter account, he said:

"My boys aren’t just here to make up the numbers. This is an inexperienced team but it’s a winners team if you back them. It’s your team, if you give them the support they need. Alhamdulillah for the win, much needed in keeping the series alive. Very very well played Hasan and Haris"

Notably, after Pakistan won the T20I game against New Zealand, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were criticised a lot. The duo were accused of playing for just milestones, lauding the young batters.
