Sawai Mansingh Stadium was established back in 1969 in Jaipur City of Rajasthan. The ground will be the home ground to the Rajasthan-based franchise- Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing IPL 2023. It is also home to the Rajasthan Cricket Team in Ranji Trophy. So far, the stadium has witnessed 20 international games, including a lone T20I between India and New Zealand.
India won the only T20I played on the ground by 5 wickets chasing down the 165 runs target set by New Zealand back in November 2021.
This Jaipur stadium has a seating capacity of around 30,000 people. The stadium underwent reconstruction in 2016 and it has two ends namely- Van Vihar Colony End and Garh Ganesh Temple End.
