Shubman Gill is currently plying his trade for Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023. The batter had kick-started the campaign on high as he played a staggering inning in his side’s open game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The right-hander smashed a staggering half-century in the first game and guided his side to win.
He looked good in the second game against Delhi Capitals but perished early for 14 runs. But with the kind of form he’s going in, he’s expected to play a big role for the team in the IPL 2023. It’s fair to say that if GT needs to fancy their chances of winning their second consecutive tournament, Gill needs to fire and show the way to his team.
