SL vs PAK 2023: 2nd Test Day 3 Stumps, Pakistan is at 563/5, Leading by 397 runs | Pakistan Tour of Sri Lanka 2023: Pakistan played wonderfully on Day 3, their batters showed good cricket; Abdullah Shafique knocked a Double Century.

Sri Lanka and Pakistan are playing the second test match at Singhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground in Colombo, Sri Lanka. After the End of Day 3, Pakistan had a massive lead of 397 runs.

Most interestingly, they are playing their first inning. Salman Ali Agha and Abdullah Shafique made a huge partnership of 149 runs for the fifth wicket.

After scoring a double century, Abdullah Shafique becomes the second Pakistani batter to score a double century in Sri Lanka. Shafique scored 201 runs in 326 balls, and his inning led Pakistan to a strong position.

By the End of Day 2, Pakistan was at 178/2, but they played Phenomenally, and Now, They are at 563/5 by the end of Day 3. All Credit goes to Abdullah Shafique and Salman Ali Algha, who played beautifully in this match.

SL vs PAK 2023 2nd Test Day 3 Summary:

Salman Ali Agha is at 132* (148), whereas Mohd. Rizwan is at 37* (61), and both are having 95 runs partnership for the sixth wicket. Sarfaraz Ahmed Retires Hurt After balls hit his Head, and Mohd Rizwan was named as Concussion Sub.

As per the International Cricket Council (ICC) guidelines, a Concussion Replacement may be allowed if a player has a head or neck injury during the match.

Sri Lankan Bowlers didn’t perform their best in this match, and their bowlers took only three wickets on Day 3, Fast Bowler Asitha Fernando took three wickets, and Prabath Jayasuriya took two wickets.

Sri Lankan bowlers failed to break the partnership of Abdullah Shafique and Salman Ali Agha, and it will definitely cost them as Pakistan had a massive lead of 397 runs, and most possibly, they will put 50 more runs on the scoreboard.

Now, Pakistan is in a good position, and they had an advantage in this match because of such a huge lead. This will pressure to the Sri Lankan batting department to score runs quickly on the scoreboard.
